Developments Pathway to Independenceプログラムのお知らせ（Developmentより）
Development's Pathway to Independenceプログラムは、独立を目指すポスドクを支援することを目的とし、研修・指導・ネットワーキングの機会を提供しています。すでに今年度実施されており、アメリカとヨーロッパからの応募者が大半でした。来年度はより多様な応募者を集め、グローバルなグループで実施したいと考えています。
PIフェローにとって非常に貴重な機会であるこの機会をぜひご活用ください！

I hope you are well. I am reaching out to you in your capacity of President of the Japanese Society for Developmental Biology to ask whether the society might be able to help spread the word among your members about Development’s Pathway to Independence programme, which is currently open for applications (see https://journals.biologists.com/dev/pages/pi-programme-2024 for details). This programme is aimed at supporting postdocs looking for their first independent position – providing training, mentorship and networking opportunities. We ran the first year of this programme this year, and it’s been very successful. As we look to next year, we’re hoping to attract as diverse a pool of applications as possible – the vast majority of the applicants for this year’s call came from the US and Europe and we’d like to reach a more global group. If there’s any way that the society could alert its members to the opportunity, which has been very valuable for this year’s PI Fellows, that would be much appreciated! Please let me know if you need any further information to do this.
